Prince Alfred Park, Sydney, NSW

Recently upgraded with an eye on the environment, this historical park of Victorian origins now houses a modern Myrtha  swimming pool.

The former swimming pool, worn out by time, was removed from the center of the park, to give the landscape a fresher look. The new swimming pool, a 9 lanes,  50 mt long blue gem,  now offers a wide range of programs and classes for learning and workouts ; the pool is surrounded by several facilities such as a Cafe, a spray-park for the joy of children, spacious changing rooms with hot showers and a wooden  three-tiers grandstand shaded by rows of yellow umbrellas; people can sit there and enjoy a snack while watching swimmers in the pool water.  The adjacent lush green slope is also equipped with umbrellas to provide proper shelter from the heat.
