The centre features a range of facilities for competitive swimming, leisure, general community use and major regional events, including an eight lane 50 metre indoor swimming pool with 500 spectator seats, water slides and a splash pad.
This 13m high play structure was custom designed to realise the customers dream while achieving maximum operating efficiency.
With a total of 7 slides, 3 from 9.9 meters and the other 4 from 3 meters and below, it is like a medium size waterpark appealing to both teenagers and younger children. The structure allows for the operator to use their discretion in slow times to close the 9-meter slides reducing the required supervision staff from 2 to 0. That’s right even when fully operational you only require 2 supervisors. Even with the 9 meter slides closed, kids can still climb up the 9 meters and play with different water guns, buckets and toys.
Did we mention, apart from the slide supports, it is completely stainless steel!
This will be a milestone in the holiday park market as it will be the biggest play structure in stainless steel in Australia. Also don’t forget you only need the maximum of 2 staff to supervise and the footprint is very small. It is just a little bit bigger than a tennis court. Actually we are currently building over an old existing tennis court.
A zero depth splash pad, a 30cm deep wading zone and 26 water features.

Sun protection through the installation of a new shade sail.
Since 1986, Empex Watertoys® has been an innovator of unique interactive Aquatic Playgrounds and Splash Pads, providing interactive water play for hotels and resorts, municipal parks and recreation facilities, housing complexes, YMCA’s, YWCA’s, campgrounds, zoos, military bases, waterparks and amusement parks.
Empex designs and manufactures rugged products strictly from composite and specialty plastics and limited metal components which provides a lifetime guarantee against corrosion, much lighter than steel.
Empex products are easily installed without embedded anchors or complicated foundations, thus cutting down installation costs.
The installation procedure has been designed to facilitate the upgrading or changing of the arrangement from year to year.
Our inspired team is led by industrial designer, Daniel Leaver (B Design Industrial), who designs our innovative Playscapes using computer generated models – he puts the ‘fun’ in function! Innovation and development are central to the Hidroplay® ethic with new products being continuously developed.
Safety, of course, is a paramount consideration, so a water depth of 200mm is maintained (which is ideal for introducing water awareness and pre-swim programmes), the surfaces are non-slip and all the plumbing is cleverly hidden away.
Modular sections can be combined to suit standard pool shapes and sizes giving you the opportunity to create your own unique water space.
